At the time I was referred by my second job Director Tanja in Mary Kay Cosmetics to do PSI I was planning a divorce. I encouraged my husband, Wilson though to attend this seminar with me because I believed it would help us save our marriage. After 24 years together, we had lots of hang-ups. There were heaps of heartaches and pains inside me. We had 12 sessions in professional marriage counseling which at first Wilson didn’t approve but he did it anyway. It didn’t work.

Our eldest son was suffering from depression. He shut himself from me as well as from the whole family. My younger sister did not talk to me for quite sometime. I hated my supervisor and my manager in my other job. Friends were avoiding me. I was totally desperate and devastated.

We were attending church, but it was only helping a little. I was trying and doing what I knew was needed to do but all my efforts seemed to be in vain. Being a new migrant in Australia and in the state of adjustments and the process of settling down, my relationships were falling apart. I felt I was hopeless and worthless.

            So we registered for PSI weekend seminar but it was fully booked – so we came along to the next one.  This two day training was incredibly amazing, a total blast for me. I was blown away. I learned what type of person I am as well as my husband which helped me to understand how to deal with our situation. I uncovered what he wanted as well as my wants. My husband started to open up. I gave him what he wanted from me and I was able to ask what I wanted from him. I applied this principle to all the people around me, and it was effective and worked. It was a break through.

I realized that in 50 years of my life – this is the only time I learned how to communicate clearly and effectively. I learned how to express myself verbally and through body language. I feel I was released from a huge burden and become happy and have a higher self-esteem. I felt terrific and fantastic when my son started to communicate with me. He opened up - shared his fears, his frustrations, his plans and everything.  My husband became expressive and giving. My younger sister who did not talk to me for quite sometime, now calls often in the phone. It was wonderful.

I was bold and brave enough to talked to my supervisor about the things I wanted and I got them. I am now happy in my other job. Colleagues are becoming agreeable to what I am saying. Circle of friends are becoming big.

I realized what a hopeful and worthwhile person I have become since I finished PSI. I achieved these wonderful things just in a short of time.  I have undergone a massive change in my life. Now I feel I am a new person.

I took a leap to a leadership level in Mary Kay Cosmetics as a Director-In-Qualification.

My greatest dreams are - to have a happier, richer, fulfilling and meaningful life. I am now achieving bit by bit. I will never fail because I have my tools with me and I use them passionately. The action and work has just begun.
